You do not have to do it alone. We are with you, from hello to goodbye.
All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.
Loss affects everyone differently. What is constant, though, is that each person and family experiencing loss need and deserve the space to grieve and learn to adjust to their new "normal" life. Whether planned or unplanned, saying goodbye a baby you've grown to love is no easy task. Your doula supports you through this journey, providing you with options and helping make necessary arrangements for your angel.
In addition to providing support through your loss, your doula sticks with you for a minimum of 6 weeks after your loss, providing you with postpartum care should you want the assistance. As there is no set amount of time it takes to process your loss, you and your doula devise a plan for care based on your wants and needs.
SUPPORT, HOWEVER YOU NEED IT.
For some, it's failure to thrive and/or incompatibility with life. For some, it's a traumatic experience. For some, it's simply timing. Whatever your reason, you are not alone. The road may not be easy, but we will walk it with you.
Deciding how to proceed with a planned termination can be overwhelming and confusing, and you may not have the support you need to make it through the journey. Allow us to support you through it all.
MISCARRIAGE & STILLBORN SUPPORT
No matter how far along into your pregnancy you are, a miscarriage or loss of life in utero can have a drastic effect on you, your body, and your everyday life. You should not and do not have to take the journey with no one by your side.
Being unable to hold the baby you have grown, or only being able to hold them for a short period of time, can be overwhelming. We can discuss your options and create a sacred space for your baby's life to be remembered through.
Learning to adjust to a postpartum body without a baby is undoubtedly one of the hardest parts of this journey. While everyone else may be able to go back to "business as usual" you are met with a whole new world to get used to. We can provide comfort and support as you figure out your new normal - from lactation support to memorial planning to meal prep and housework, let us help you.
